Here is a list of fabrics placed in order of easiest to handle to most difficult. What do you think? Some seamstresses find silk and other slippery fabrics easy to work with. I would love to hear your ideas on how to handle difficult fabrics.

I think chiffon is hell to work with. Not all polyesters are easy, I would put cotton at the top of my list.
I’ve tried every “tip” for chiffon and nothing worked. You’re right, there are all kinds of polyester, I love the polyester silk-e, usually don’t have a problem.

I had a hard time with chiffon and Georgette from laying on the pattern to cutting. I did enjoy working with lace =)
I haven’t worked with lace but I hear that can be a challenge too. Chiffon has not been kind to me.
